My new hero

This is the coolest thing ever. Elsie Mclean, a 102-year-old golfer, became the oldest person ever to nail a hole-in-one. She took to the tee last Thursday at a course in Chico, Cali. She's been playing since her twenties, but this was her first ace!

Idiot...nuf said.

The summer of George

Wow. The Hot Corner has been on a bit of a.....hiatus. But to all of you loyal fans (thanks Mom and Dad) The Hot Corner is officially back in business.

Major League Baseball started its season yesterday. Only 180 more games to go until the season starts to matter.

The Florida Gators hoops team made it two in a row last night. Did anyone see Joakim Noah's post game interview on CBS? He made no sense whatsoever and pretty much sounded like an idiot. But he'll soon be an idiot making seven plus figures. Maybe that can buy him a new hairdo.

I actually was at a Georgetown bar on Saturday night when the Hoyas lost to Ohio State in the Final Four. While I thought Ohio State's O-H-I-O chant was the most annoying cheer ever, turns out G'town's "Hoya - Saxa" is as equally irritating. Something else you should know about Georgetown fans: they stink. I counted two Hoyas t-shirts in said packed bar. Everyone else had on oxfords and one guy was even wearing a velour blazer. At least you wouldn't find that at a Buckeyes bar.

That's all for now. The Hot Corner needs to warm up and get loose...
